Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

We also accept payment by cheque (made payable to Stoppa Ltd), Postal Orders, or Bank Transfer- please contact us for further information.

We will send you an email to confirm the order and/or to confirm that the order has been dispatched. Please contact us if you do not receive a confirmation email within one working day after your order has been placed.

Shipping And Handling Shipping is charged at the selected rate. For International orders please email us with your requirements so we can calculate accurate shipping charges.

We always ensure that items are packaged safey to protect the contents.

If you goods are not delivered within 5 days of the day indicated at the time of order or contained in your confirmation email please contact us.

We reserve the right to increase postal charges to reflect the actual postage cost after posting without notice.

Delivery Schedule We process your order right away.

Most orders are delivered within 1-3 working days and we endeavour to confirm the despatch of each online order by email with an indication of the expected delivery time.

Please alllow a approx 28 days for delivery for made to order items, special order or out of stock items.

BODY ARMOUR ORDERS

Most of our body armour is made at the time of order to ensure you receive absolutely brand new armour. This gives you the confidence to know that when you receive your armour vest it still has it's maximium service life and has not been stored improperly at any point-giving you the maximum return on your investment.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. Most smaller items are held in stock and are posted to you within 24 hours of receiving your order.

Some items not in stock at the time of order will be 'special ordered' from our suppliers. If we do this we may charge your credit card at the time of order.

For your security and peace of mind all items posted will require a signature on delivery.

Please allow 28 days for delivery for back-ordered items..

Back ordered items will not be cancelled by us, but the customer can cancel at any time prior to despatch.

Important note regarding Body Armour:

Body armour not in stock will be made to order. We can estimate the lead time at the time of order based on the Manufacturers current workload however this may change without noitce. An average lead time of 2-4 weeks after receiving payment, is normal for 'made to order' body armour. This is beyond our control and if the armour is required urgently please let us know at the time of order.

Customers should allow up to 4 weeks for the manufacture of body armour. If the armour is required before this time we ask the customer to let us know at the time of order.

Urgently required armour can be 'fast tracked' at the time of order for an extra fee to cover any additional frieght charges that may be necessary.

Body armour can be returned/cancelled by the customer at any time up to 7 days after delivery, subject to the armour being un-used and in a re-saleable condition. Armour thus returned/cancelled may attract re-stocking/admin fee of up to 20%.

Customers are strongly advised to complate our Measurements form (available from this website) before placing an online order. If you guess your size incorrectly it may lead to disappointment and undue delays whilst the correctly sized armour is manufactured.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union 17.5% VAT is added, this rate is subject to change. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero.

All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.

If you live inside the EU we reserve the right to add VAT to the final total at the appropiate rate.

Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy If you need to return goods for any reason you will be liable for all postage costs including insurance. Goods can returned unused within 7 days of receipt. If you need to return any item you should contact us to receive a Returns Number. Goods that are returned will be inspected for any sign of use, damage, misuse or neglect. If there is any doubt we reserve the right not to exchange or give a refund.

Refunds are always less any postage costs.

Credit card payents will be refunded to the original card, less postage costs, less 4% credit card company fees.

Customers are reminded that we are not liable for Returns that are lost or damaged in the Postal system. Customers should always ensure that the appropiate level of insurance is purchased from the Royal Mail. Generally speaking items of more than £30.00 in value should be reuturned to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

SPECIAL NOTE - BODY ARMOUR RETURNS

Remittance Terms All online orders are 'Pre-paid' unless you already have a Credit Account with us. Payment can be made online, over the telephone or by post.
